Head of Inglefield House
Mrs Hilary Phillips is Head of Inglefield House.
Inglefield House is a happy school where every child is encouraged and supported to aim high and develop a lifelong love of learning. The qualities our children will need in life are as important as their skills and knowledge. This is why we not only offer a wide and varied curriculum to our pupils, but also nurture and support each girl, and positively push them to make mistakes, take risks, think independently and push the boundaries of their creativity. We are not a “one size fits all” school; our dedicated team of staff know their pupils well, truly care about their progress and wellbeing, set ambitious but realisable targets and in return, the girls show positive attitudes towards their learning, accept challenge and love their school. Inglefield House girls think independently. Inglefield House girls can, and do!
I hope our website will give you a sense of the purpose and “buzz” of Inglefield House and a feel for the wider school family here in Monmouth. A sense of community is important to us and pupils throughout the five schools here are taught to value fairness, respect and kindness. It’s a beautiful place to live and an inspiring place to learn. Come and visit us and discover the truth for yourself!
