The Year 3 teachers are Mrs Jones and Mrs Griffiths.

Texts we will study this year include The Twits, The Owl Who Was Afriad of the Dark and Charlotte's Web.

In our history lessons we study Stone-Age Man, the Bronze Age, the Iron Age and The Romans. We enjoy trips to Dan-Yr-Ogof Showcaves and we visit Caerleon to enhance our studies of the Romans. During the Lent term, we visit The Barn Owl Sanctuary in Gloucester to meet and leanr about some very special owls.

Our geography topics are Families, Homes and Jobs, Shops and Shopping and Weather.

Our weekly ICT sessions include learning how to use Microsoft Word, communicating on e-mail and using databases.
