Instrumental lessons
Tuition in a wide range of musical instruments is offered to girls. Choice is sometimes determined by the size and maturity of the pupil and on lesson availability.
Generally in Years 3, 4 and 5 instrumental tuition is organised during a break time or class music lesson. Some of these lessons may take place in St Catherine’s Music Department. Piano lessons with our own designated teacher take place in the piano practice rooms. These lessons are on a rotating timetable which is organised to ensure minimum disruption to academic studies. In Year 6 most instrumental lessons are on a rotating timetable and normally take place in St Catherine’s.
