We returned to school in September to discover some impressive vegetables in our garden. We proudly added them to our collection of Harvest produce which we donated to a local charity.
Gilbert's Gardeners - With Mrs Hallett
The glorious spring weather was an ideal opportunity for Years 3 and 4 to get out into the newly rabbit-proofed garden to do some clearing of weeds and preparation for the new growing year. Whilst digging, the girls found worms, centipedes and slugs. The latter were relocated to the wood pile, as part of our endeavour to keep the garden organic, and not use any chemical pest control! The girls also planted seeds in pots, to be planted out next term.

Eco News March 2009
8 new Eco-Reps have joined our Committee so we now have 2 representatives in each form. We will be selling Eco-bags at lunchtime, please see your reps if you would like to buy one. An ideal gift for Mothers' Day. We've collected 685 Morrisons vouchers to spend in own garden, so thank you to everyone! Once the weather improves we will be looking for volunteers to help in the garden. We've been working hard and have gained the Silver Award. We are now working towards the Green Flag award.
