Year 6 - London
One of the highlights of Year 6 was our trip on the London Eye and The Houses of Parliament. It was an early start for us but that didn't dampen our high spirits! On the Eye we moved like a snail so that we could get a glimpse of all the wonderful places in London. On the ground were ant-like people and further afield we could see Buckingham Palace, Downing Street and St. Paul's Cathedral. Leaving the Eye, we sauntered along The Embankment, enjoying the sight of all the "Living Statues" who entertained the tourists. When we reached the Tate Modern Art Gallery, we were able to experience the exhibition called "Body, Space, Motion". Stepping into the Houses of Parliament was a memorable experience. (Olivia, 6C)
