Harvest Assembly

Parents recently joined us for our Harvest Assembly. Each year group was represented in the assembly; Year 3 read their class poem, Year 4 performed their musical composition, Year 5 read prayers and Year 6 retold a story. This year, our Harvest produce is going to a local charity called Herefordshire Headway which provides rehabilitation therapy, information, activities, support and services to people with brain injuries. Mr Jarvis, who is a parent of a pupil at our school, came to collect the produce on behalf of the charity and gave an interesting talk about brain injuries. He demonstrated how important it is for us to wear cycling helmets by dropping two eggs from a great height, one with a helmet and one without!
