On Friday 3rd February, Gary the Viking came to Inglefield House to talk to 4C and 4R about life during Viking times. The first thing Gary said was 'Good-ar' which meant 'Good day'. We learnt so many interesting facts during the afternoon and at the end, Gary taught us a clever method of recalling all these facts using our fingers as reminders. The Vikings were sailors, raiders, traders, crafters and farmers.

'My favourite part was when Emma and Gary had a slow motion battle.'
'Our Gary the Viking experience was incredible and I learnt lots of things I didn't know before. Who would know that they didn't have horns on their helmets?!'
