GIRLS AGED 7 - 11 WITH BOARDING FROM 9

Inglefield House provides a secure and safe environment for girls aged 7 to 11 years.  It provides an excellent academic grounding in all core subjects with a varied curriculum including art, drama, music, chess and sport.

We have specialist subject teachers to introduce your daughter to science, physical education and music.  Music classes give your child the opportunity to try a wind or string instrument.  The School has regular successes in sport, music and chess at county and national levels.  Educational visits enable girls to extend their knowledge beyond the classroom.

The school provides a gentle introduction to the senior school, with gradual use of the superb academic and sporting facilities of the main school and some teaching by main school staff.  A high number of scholarships are awarded each year as girls move confidently into HMSG.

There is provision for before and after school supervision, and boarding can commence from the age of 10.

The school hours are from 8.40am to 4.00pm with lunch eaten between 12noon - 12.30pm.  There is after-school club from 4.00pm to 6.00pm.
